Privacy Policy

Overview
EdQuantify, Inc. (“EdQuantify,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the EdQuantify platform at edquantify.com and related subdomains. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our services, including our learning impact platform and media analytics tools.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and role. This information is used to provision your tenant workspace and manage access.
Third-Party Platform Data
When you connect third-party services such as YouTube or podcast hosting platforms, we access analytics data through their official APIs using OAuth 2.0 authorization. We request only read-only access to the data necessary to provide our analytics services. Specifically:
- •YouTube Analytics: Channel performance metrics (views, watch time, demographics, traffic sources, revenue data), video metadata (titles, publish dates), and subscriber counts. We access this data in read-only mode and do not modify your YouTube account.
- •Podcast Analytics: Download counts, listener demographics, geographic data, and episode metadata from podcast hosting platforms.
Usage Data
We collect standard usage information such as browser type, pages visited, and feature usage to improve our platform.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services. This includes aggregating analytics data from connected platforms into unified dashboards, generating performance reports, and tracking delivery against advertising contracts. We do not sell your data or your clients' data to third parties. We do not use connected platform data for advertising purposes.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States. OAuth tokens and API credentials are encrypted at rest using AWS Secrets Manager. We use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS), role-based access controls, and tenant-isolated data storage — each organization's data is stored separately and is not accessible by other tenants.
Third-Party Services
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google user data to provide and improve the analytics features you explicitly authorized. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide our services, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with adequate data protection commitments.
Revoking Access
You can disconnect any connected platform at any time from your EdQuantify dashboard (Library → Connections). This removes your stored credentials from our system and stops all data fetching from that platform. You can also revoke access directly from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Upon disconnection, we stop fetching new data. Previously ingested analytics data is retained in your tenant workspace unless you request deletion.
Data Retention
We retain your account data and analytics data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may also request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
