EdQuantify, Inc. (“EdQuantify,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the EdQuantify website at edquantify.com and the EdQuantify platform. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors to our website and to users of our platform.

EdQuantify is a business-to-business service. Our platform is a governed data layer that helps an organization resolve and unify records held across the business systems it already runs. In the ordinary course we handle only limited personal information — primarily names and business email addresses — and we do not seek out or require sensitive personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Account & contact information

When you create an account or contact us, we collect identifying details such as your name, business email address, organization name, and role. We use this to set up and secure your workspace, respond to you, and administer the service.

Information you submit through our website

If you complete a form on our website — for example, to request a demo, contact us, or subscribe to updates — we collect the information you provide, which is typically your name and business email address.

Customer records processed on your behalf

When an organization uses our platform, we process the records that the organization (or a system it authorizes) sends to us so that we can resolve, unify, and return them. The organization decides what to send and remains responsible for it; we process it solely to provide the service, under that organization’s instructions. We do not use these records for advertising and we do not sell them.

Optional third-party connections

Our platform can optionally connect to certain third-party services that a customer chooses to authorize. Where a customer connects such a service, we access only the data necessary to provide the requested functionality, using that service’s official interfaces and the access the customer grants. These connections are optional and are not required to use the platform. Where a connection uses Google APIs, our use of information received from those APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, and is used only to provide the features the customer explicitly authorized.

Usage information

We collect standard technical information when you use our website and platform — such as browser type, device and log data, pages viewed, and feature usage — to operate, secure, and improve the service.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• provide, maintain, secure, and improve our website and platform;
• set up accounts, authenticate users, and keep each organization’s data isolated;
• resolve and unify the records an organization sends us, and return the results;
• respond to inquiries, provide support, and send service and administrative messages;
• with your consent or as otherwise permitted, send updates about our products — you can unsubscribe at any time; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use information processed on a customer’s behalf for our own advertising.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances, with the following categories of recipients:

• Service providers. Vendors that host and operate the service for us under contract — including cloud infrastructure and security providers — and that are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us. Our platform runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States.
• At your direction. Third-party services you choose to connect, and people you authorize within your organization.
• Legal and safety. Where required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of EdQuantify, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection commitments.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the website and platform (for example, to keep you signed in and to remember preferences). We may also use a limited set of analytics technologies to understand how our website is used so we can improve it.

Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is not yet a common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, and at this time we do not respond to them. We do honor recognized opt-out preference signals where required by applicable law.

If and when we introduce advertising or cross-context tracking technologies, we will update this section to describe them and provide the choices required by applicable law, including any applicable opt-out.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption of credentials and secrets at rest, role-based access controls, and tenant isolation so that each organization’s data is kept separate from others’. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information using reasonable, appropriate measures.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and afterward only as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If an account is closed, we delete or de-identify the associated data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. You can also disconnect any optional third-party connection at any time, which stops further data from being retrieved through it.

7. Your Choices & Rights

You may access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information, and you may request a copy of it in a portable format. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails. To make a request, contact us at founder@edquantify.com. If your information was provided to us by an organization using our platform, we may direct your request to that organization, which controls that data.

U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to know what we collect, to request access or deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. EEA & UK

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Where we process your information to provide a service to your organization, that organization is generally the controller and we act as its processor. Where applicable, we rely on lawful bases such as performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, or your consent, and we use appropriate safeguards for any international data transfers. 8. International Users

EdQuantify is based in the United States and our infrastructure is located in the United States. If you access the service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we put appropriate transfer safeguards in place.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our website and platform are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies). If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the website or platform after an update means you accept the revised policy.
